Driving Directions to Turnaround 1. Drive 1.1 miles back to Baker Lake Road. 2. Turn right (heading north) on Baker Lake Road. 3. Stay on this road for approximately 12 miles. Just past the Baker Lake Resort, the road will turn to dirt and eventually dead end at the Baker River Trailhead (turnaround point for the run). IMPORTANT: A Forest Service Parking Pass is required to park here. A single day pass is $5.00 and can be purchased at the Baker Lake Grocery Service Station near milepost 83 (on race day) or you can purchase an annual pass online for $30. Passes can also be purchased at any Ranger Station. There will be an aid station for runners at this location.
There is also a one person restroom. Be sure to enjoy the Baker
River beach.
