New
Race Director!
Our family is in the process
of moving to Eastern Washington. Shawn Lawson will take
over in our place, and continue the tradition and experience
that the Baker Lake 50K Trail Run provides. Shawn is
an awesome ultrarunner in her own right, and recently
started the NB2V 100. Please support her all you can.
Thanks to all of you for your past participation and
present interest in running the Baker Lake trail.

Welcome!
Join fellow trail
runners on a scenic, undulating dirt trail along Baker Lake. Begin
your run by crossing the Upper Baker
Dam and proceeding for just over a mile on a dirt road to the
trailhead. Run deep in the forest through old growth timber and
over picturesque wooden bridges while enjoying views of the volcano
cone of Mount Baker and the large rock mastiff of Mount Shuksan.
From the trail, see shallow parts of Baker Lake, glimpse ghostly
tree stumps of giant cedars harvested long ago, and abundant wildlife
including deer, black bear, bald eagles, and osprey. At the halfway
mark, after crossing the suspension bridge over Baker River, reload
at the aid station, turn around and return, enjoying different
views of this beautiful trail, retrace your steps over the dam,
cross the finish line, and you will have completed the Baker Lake
50K Trail Run.
